Thank you for the ABA Section of Real Property, Trust, & Estate Law’s 37th Annual RPTE National CLE Conference, taking place from April 30 to May 1, 2025, and the Section Leadership Meeting from May 1 – May 2, 2025, at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. This premier event brings together professionals from across the legal industry for a week of insightful presentations, hands-on learning opportunities, and CLE credits. Leading experts will share their knowledge in real property, trust, and estate law, equipping you with practical tools for your practice.

Meeting Format

The 37th Annual RPTE National CLE Conference will be an in-person event.

Continuing Legal Education (CLE)

The ABA will seek 12.25 hours of CLE credit in 60-minute states, and 14.7 hours of CLE credit for this program in 50-minute states, including 1 hours of Elimination of Bias CLE, and 2.25 hours of Ethics CLE credit in 60-minute states and 1.2 hours of Elimination of Bias CLE, and 2.70 hours of Ethics CLE credit in 50-minute states. Credit hours are estimated and are subject to each state’s approval and credit rounding rules. By booking a reservation with MGM Resorts & Aria, you agree to the following terms:

  • The hotel room block cut-off date is Friday, March 28th
  • Room rates and availability are limited
  • Standard Check-In: 3:00 PM
  • Standard Checkout: 11:00 AM
  • A Daily Resort Fee ($45/day), plus applicable taxes, will be added to your reservation at check-in.
  • There is an additional charge per night, per occupant above two per room, regardless of age.
  • A deposit of the first night’s room & tax is required at time of booking.
  • Estimated taxes are based on current tax rates (subject to change as permitted by applicable law). Additional taxes, if any will be due upon check-in.
  • Every effort to accommodate special requests will be made, but we are unable to guarantee them as rooms are not assigned until check-in. Additional fees may apply depending on the specific requests.
  • All cancellations require 72 hours notice to cancel and receive a refund of deposit.

2025 ABA Real Property, Trust and Estate Law CLE Conference Scholarship Application

There are a limited number of scholarships available for each program which range from a 25% to a 50% tuition discount.

All applications must be submitted by Friday, April 4, 2025.

Decisions regarding applications will be announced by Friday, April 11, 2025.

Health and Safety

The ABA takes the health and safety of our members, guests, and staff seriously. We know that the decision whether to attend a meeting is based upon a variety of personal and business considerations. We will continue to monitor a variety of sources, including the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and U.S. state and local health authorities for the latest public health updates, as well as applicable restrictions on events and gatherings. The ABA plans to hold this meeting in person but reserves the right to cancel or reschedule this event or convert it to a virtual event if health and safety restrictions require it. We will update the registrants and the website should the plans for this event change.

As part of the registration process to hold this ABA meeting in person, every attendee is required to affirm their commitment to comply with the in-person meeting guidelines. Please review the requirements carefully prior to registering for the meeting.

ABA Business Conduct Standards

Event attendees are required to review and consent to the ABA Business Conduct Standards.

Photos and Recordings

Photos and recordings may be captured during this event. As part of the registration process, event attendees must review and consent to the event waiver and release of liability of images and recordings.

Cancellation Policy

Requests for refunds must be made in writing and emailed to rptemeetings@americanbar.org no later April 19, 2024. A $75 administrative fee will be deducted from the amount refunded. The Section will gladly accept substitute registrants for cancellations received at any time.

Program Materials

Meeting materials will be available to paid registrants in the following formats:

  • Mobile App: A mobile meeting app with complete program information, including PDF’s of written materials, will be available for download.
  • Web: A link to the materials on the RPTE website will be available to registrants for downloading or printing.

All registered attendees will receive a link to program materials, access to the mobile app, and additional meeting information by email approximately one week prior to the meeting.

Hotel Information

We have negotiated special group rates at the Capitol Hilton of $329 (single or double occupancy) per night, plus taxes and fees. The reservation deadline for the group rate is April 14, 2024. If necessary, cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled arrival to avoid a one-night cancellation charge. Reservations may be made by calling the Capitol Hilton at 844-208-0073. Be sure to mention you are attending the “ABA Real Property, Trust and Estate” to receive the group rate. Rooms may also be booked online .

Travel Discounts

CLE Credit

The ABA will seek 12 hours of CLE credit in 60-minute states, and 14.4 hours of CLE credit for this program in 50-minute states including 2 hours of CLE specialty ethics credit in 60-minute states, 2.4 hours of CLE specialty ethics credit in 50-minute states, 1 hour of CLE specialty elimination of bias credit in 60-minute states and 1.2 hours of CLE specialty elimination of bias credit in 50-minute states. Scholarships

A limited number of scholarships is available based on need. The scholarships range from a 25% to a 50% tuition discount. Scholarship applications must be submitted by April 5, 2024, in order to be considered. Decisions regarding the applications will be announced no later than April 12, 2024.
